Active holiday on Langeland
Langeland offers plenty of opportunities for outdoor life and outdoor activities. Starting from Sommerliv B & B, there are short distances to the forest and beach. We ourselves are passionate outdoor people loving communicating the knowledge we have acquired about Langeland and the many activity opportunities that Langeland offers.
Hiking holiday
Right outside the door, we have many opportunities for nice hikes and walks along the beach and in smaller forests. The landscape in North of Langeland is characterized by hills and beautiful views over both the sea and the waters between Langeland and Funen. There is easy access to the Artiplago Path, where the route from Dageløkke via Tranekær to Stengade Skov is worth recommending. Lohals from coast to coast through the Stigtehave forest is also a "must". For inspiration, we have the book "58 hiking routes on Langeland", which you are welcome to look at and take pictures of the many suggested routes.
Cycling holiday
The well-marked cycle routes 80/81 go from Rudkøbing north to Lohals and back to Spodsbjerg. Route 81 takes you right past Sommerliv B & B. These routes also connect well with the Manor route. Starting from Sommerliv B & B, you can combine parts of these routes, the possibilities are endless, and we are happy to help with suggestions for today's trip. MTB bikes included in the price.
Water sports
From Sommerliv B & B, there is only 500 m to Snøde beach, which faces east. The water here is relatively deep, and it is suitable for water sports such as sea swimming, kayaking and SUP. However, there may be some current. The beach itself is very changeable and can be a nice sandy beach one day and more stony the next. If you are more into bathing, shallow water and a wide beach, the west coast at Stoense and Lohals is recommended. These are respectively 5 and 7 km from Sommerliv B & B.
